Materials For The Arts
Realize, Provide, Enhance.

We are pleased to announce a new initiative at MFTA called Third Thursdays. Beginning in February, every Third Thursday of the month from 7-9 pm, we will offer art-making studio workshops that showcase how to repurpose everyday items into art. Meet and create with fellow artists while learning new skills and enjoying complimentary refreshments. Participants leave with finished art projects, a bag full of supplies, and a feeling of inspiration to continue creating long after they've left the warehouse. You may sign up through our Events page.

Materials for the Arts, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, helps artists realize their visions, provides students with a richer educational experience, and furnishes businesses with a simple and efficient way to enhance the cultural life of their city.
