Date: February 15, 2011, 9:30 am - 11:30 amProgram: Spring 2011 Daytime Workshops
Description
Discover how to stretch canvas, make easels, and craft paintbrushes from reusable materials.
Instructor: Jim Ditto
Daytime Workshops teach supportive, hands-on art project ideas to after-school providers, teachers, and arts programmers. During each session participants make one or more art pieces with reused materials, working from numerous examples, providing themselves with templates for teaching art to their students. Each class ends with discussion about how the art pieces could be adapted and integrated into each participants own teaching situation. Reuse art projects also provide a great way to save money on art supplies and teach students how to make art with the materials they already have in their home.
Tuesdays, 9:30-11:30am, beginning on 1/25/2011
Shopping appointments are available after the workshops at- 11:30am and 12:00pm
