Third Thursdays: Found Object Sculpture

On the Third Thursday of every month from 7-9 pm, Materials For The Arts offers art-making studio workshops that showcase how to repurpose everyday items into art. Meet and create with fellow artists while learning new skills and enjoying complimentary refreshments. Participants leave with finished art projects, a bag full of supplies, and a feeling of inspiration to continue creating long after they've left the warehouse.
This month join us for “Found Object Sculpture” - Learn how to transform old toys, packaging, hardware, and other leftovers into dynamic sculptures, trophies, and housewares. After this class, be prepared to rethink the items in your home and to turn them into functional pieces of art, totems, and conversation pieces.
