Welcome Orientation

2:00 - 3:00pm “Welcome Orientation” for new groups and new staff members of previously registered groups.

IMPORTANT: The Welcome Orientation was planned to coincide with the regularly scheduled “First of the Month” Monday Evening Shopping on September 8th. Shopping will begin at 3:30pm. If you intend to shop after the orientation, please make sure to go online to make your own appointment. Shopping appointments that evening are limited.

Following the Welcome Orientation and just for those organizations who will not be shopping that evening, a quick tour of the warehouse will be given.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

If you are a new group, an old group updating your account, or have experienced significant staff changes you should attend this meeting.

The meeting will be about one hour. The Volunteer Coordinator will discuss shopping eligibility, direct donations, using the website, recipient responsibilities, and a review of other free services provided by MFTA.

Groups are required to attend a welcome meeting within three months of their acceptance to MFTA. Any representative may come from the organization. We expect that they will then share the ins and outs of MFTA with their colleagues.
