Friends of Materials for the Arts (FOMA)
FOMA was founded by current Executive Director Harriet Taub in 2002 to help support MFTA and its work in servicing artists, educators, and community members throughout New York City. FOMA does so by implementing and sponsoring several initiatives including the Education Center at Materials for the Arts, evening shopping hours, a volunteer program, and transportation services. FOMA is comprised of a talented and energetic Board of Directors who work to sustain and enhance programs, initiatives, and the MFTA shopping experience. Financial support for FOMA's ongoing initiatives is provided by many dedicated individuals, corporations, and foundations.
