Onondaga Community College

4/3/09

On Friday, April 3, 2009 honor students from Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY spent the day volunteering in the warehouse at Materials for the Arts as part of their service weekend.

While in the warehouse these students completed several necessary projects, which included: Resized mural canvases; sorted, folded and put away piece fabric; sorted and put away more than 200 cans of paints; restacked very heavy rolls of fabric; removed string and debris from the wheels of more than 50 shopping carts; and sorted and replenished hardware, utility and architectural items.

The rainy weather did nothing to curb the enthusiasm of the full day of projects.
