- Not for profit arts and cultural groups
- NYC Department of Education art teachers
- Social service, health, and environmental organizations with an ongoing art program
- Government agencies
Your program must be located in the five boroughs of New York City. What will be required in the application?
After you have completed the on-line application form, you will receive an e-mail with a list of supporting documents that are required for processing. You can mail or drop off these documents at the MFTA office. Please Note: Your organization may already be registered. Please look at the list of recipients and search for your organization before you begin the application process. Most schools are already registered, check the recipient list before proceeding.Special note for individual artists:
Individual artists may only apply for commissioned work in not for profit settings. An artist must mail a resume, proposal and letter from a fiscal sponsor organization. The letter from the fiscal sponsor must state the artist’s name, project name and beginning and ending dates of project. |
