The Fashion Center SIDEWALK CATWALK Presented by LF USA is a one-of-a-kind public art exhibit, created by the Fashion Center BID and featuring the work of New York City’s top fashion designers. From June 24 to September 3, SIDEWALK CATWALK is offering the artistic interpretations of a fashion industry icon – the mannequin – by 30 of New York’s leading designers and two student design teams. The exhibit will showcase custom-built mannequins, displayed runway-style down Broadway from Times Square to Herald Square, each modeling a bold, one-of-a-kind manifestation of its designer’s artistic vision. All designers' artwork will be up for auction during the event. Proceeds of the auction will go to Materials for the Arts
Materials for the Arts is honored to have been chosen as the beneficiary of this auction. The auction is live and bidding will continue throughout the summer.
